Good news for fans of Hiro Mashima’s (Rave Master) Fairy Tail manga: Crunchyroll has confirmed that they will begin simulcasting the series along with its Japanese debut. If you’re unfamiliar with Mashima’s world, you can check out a couple reviews of the manga we put up a while back, or just run to your local bookstore and give it a peek.
Produced by A-1 Pictures and Satelight for TV Tokyo, Fairy Tail will stream on Crunchyroll within an hour of its Japanese premiere in 720p resolution. Sounds great, where’s the catch, right? Well, this service is currently only available to the site’s Anime members, so if you’re hankerin’ for it is particularly strong, you may want to consider signing up in the near future.
Crunchyroll also announced similar simulcasting plans for the anime based on Takashi Ikeda’s Sasameki Koto manga, though non-members will be able to watch this show one week after members. Here’s the page for Fairy Tail, where you can watch a CM for the show, and here’s Sasameki Koto‘s.
