Looks like the folks behind CITY THE ANIMATION, the anime adaptation of Keiichi Arawi’s CITY manga, are cooking up a weekly cadence for cast additions. Following up on last week’s announcement, we have two more cast members getting in on the fun at Kyoto Animation.
The latest cast additions include:
Kazutomi Yamamoto (Yumoto Hakone in Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!) as Obaba
Kiyomitsu Mizuuchi (Stratmann in Attack on Titan: Lost Girls) as Ii Hito
Tachi Ishidate (Violet Evergarden) directs, with Tamami Tokuyama (animation director for Sound! Euphonium) on character designs and chief animation direction for the Kyoto Animation production.
Kodansha USA publishes the manga—which comes from Keiichi Arawi, the author behind Nichijou—in English. Here’s how Kyoto Animation describes the series:
