
The upcoming anime movie Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc just dropped a trailer that lets us listen to part of the just-revealed ending theme song. The song is titled “JANE DOE” and performed by Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada.

Both the movie’s overall theme song, titled “IRIS OUT,” and the anime’s opening theme song, “KICK BACK,” were performed by Yonezu.
The movie is slated to hit Japanese theaters on September 19. After this, it will be on the big screen in more than 80 other countries starting on September 24. Fans in the United States and United Kingdom will have to wait a little longer, as we won’t be getting it in our theaters until October 29. Sony Pictures Entertainment has international theatrical rights and is making sure to get this movie viewed as widely as possible around the globe.
The movie is being made at MAPPA, with Tatsuya Yoshihara, who has previously worked on the TV anime as a key animator, episode director and storyboarder, helming this project as the full-on director. Its script was penned by Hiroshi Seko, who also worked on the TV anime. Likewise, composer kensuke ushio was involved with the TV anime as well.
Reina Ueda has been cast as the character Reze.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc Plot
Denji became “Chainsaw Man”, a boy with a devil’s heart, and is now part of Special Division 4’s devil hunters. After a date with Makima, the woman of his dreams, Denji takes shelter from the rain. There he meets Reze, a girl who works in a café.
The popular franchise started out as a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto. It’s published in America by VIZ Media, and you can see Otaku USA’s review of the first volume here.
