Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and Kodansha Publishing have teamed up to use Cells at Work! in the fight against COVID-19.
Creator Akane Shimizu finished her Cells at Work! series about anthropomorphic cells with a chapter about COVID-19. This chapter, plus a new chapter about the COVID vaccine that’s overseen by Shimizu and illustrated by Kairemeku, are being made available on YouTube for anyone to watch.
So far the two chapters have been released in Japanese, but they’re also supposed to be released in English and Hindi so that they can reach more people. You’ll have to do the reading yourself, but the videos include sound effects!
