Cells at Work! Anime Film Comes with Cute Platelets Short

Celles at Work!‘s feature film is on the way to theaters in Japan this September with special screenings of “The Return of the Strongest Enemy. A Huge Uproar Inside the Body’s Bowels!” in advance of the second season’s January 2021 debut. According to the latest update, a special short starring everyone’s favorite adorable Platelets will be coming along for the ride.

The short episode is appropriately titled “Platelets Go to a Movie Theater,” and will tell the tale of… Platelets going to a movie theater after work! You can see the first pair of cute stills above and below.
