Akane Shimizu’s Cells at Work! manga, AKA Hataraku Saibou, is getting the TV anime adaptation treatment this year. According to Aniplex’s announcement, the series is set to premiere in July, and both Japanese and English websites are live.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure‘s Kenichi Suzuki is directing the anime, with Yuuko Kakihara (Persona 4 the Animation) on series composition and both teaming up to write scripts. Animation production comes from David Production, which previously produced JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Inu x Boku Secret Service, and The Book of Bantorra, among others.
