Originally scheduled to be performed in Tokyo from March 6-22, most of the showings of the second My Hero Academia The ‘Ultra’ Stage: Honmono no Hero play were canceled due to concerns surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus). Now, in a rather optimistic move considering the State of Emergency Japan has put in place for seven prefectures, the play has been rescheduled for a run from July 17 to July 26.
The PLUS ULTRA ver. of the second stage show will introduce some new characters into the mix, including Dabi (played by Yuta Osumi), Himiko Toga (Anju Inami), and Twice (Yusaku Kawasaki). Tickets go on sale in Japan on June 7.
