One of the most fun anime series of the season has been Buddy Daddies, and as the series continues we’re getting more cast updates. The latest is here to introduce two more voice actors, so let’s see who’s joining the ever-growing lineup below.
First up is Shizuka Itou, who voices Kazuki’s wife, Yuzuko Kurusu, who sadly passed away at 25 while pregnant with their child:
Ikumi Hasegawa voices Yuzuko’s younger sister, Karin Izumi:
KRM’s HOME is credited with the original work, and Yoshiyuki Asai is directing. Original story draft credit goes to Vio Shimokura (Nitroplus), who is also working on series composition alongside Yuko Kakihara. Katsumi Enami is on original character designs, while Katsutoshi Kitagawa (ROUND TABLE) handles music.
Crunchyroll currently streams the Buddy Daddies anime as it airs and describes it like so:
Two assassin partners who never let their target get away somehow end up taking in a four-year-old girl. The hot and cool buddies start a family life with this cute, innocent girl.
These assassins can handle any job with no problem, and yet, they find themselves struggling with this little girl. From feeding her to playing with her to taking her to and from nursery school, they’re always rushing around. But no matter how crazy their life is, when they have a job, they can’t turn it down. To further complicate things, the girl happens to be the secret love child of a heinous mafioso that they killed!
Is it really possible to live as assassins and parents at the same time? Can this temporary family find happiness?
