The boys of Kyoto Animation’s Free! – Iwatobi Swim Club anime recently had a big theatrical outing, and now it’s time to look ahead to the future of the series. Next up for the club is a very fitting collaboration that has them partnering with Mizuno as the brand’s official swimwear ambassadors.
The collaboration between Mizuno and Free! will see products for sale both online and at official Mizuno stores, with reveals to come in the near future. For now, a special visual debuted featuring an illustration of Mizuno-clad Ikuya, Haruka, Rin and Sosuke.
Crunchyroll streamed the Free! TV anime as it aired. Here’s the official synopsis:
Nanase Haruka loved to be in the water – loved swimming. In elementary school, Nanase Haruka, Tachibana Makoto, Matsuoka Rin, and Hazuki Nagisa attended the same swimming class together.
Time passed, and as Haruka was living an uneventful high school life, he suddenly encountered Rin again. Rin challenged Haruka to a race and showed him how much stronger he had become.
Soon enough, Makoto and Nagisa also rejoined the group, and along with a new classmate, Ryugazaki Rei, they established the Iwatobi High School Swimming Club.
