Boruto Anime Brings KANA-BOON Back for New Opening Theme

boruto: naruto next generations

As revealed in this year’s 28th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, the next opening theme artist has been revealed for the BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS TV anime. This one will have KANA-BOON returning to perform after having handled the very first opening theme song for both the anime series and the original movie.

KANA-BOON’s new OP will be “Kirarirari,” and it’ll kick episodes off starting in July.

As for who will close out the episodes, that honor goes to Lenny code fiction (Fire Force, My Hero Academia season 3), who will perform the new ED titled “Bibōroku.”

The BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS anime is currently available to stream via VIZ Media on Hulu and on Crunchyroll, with dub episodes airing on Adult Swim’s Toonami block. Here’s how Crunchyroll sums up the series:

The life of the shinobi is beginning to change. Boruto Uzumaki, son of Seventh Hokage Naruto Uzumaki, has enrolled in the Ninja Academy to learn the ways of the ninja. Now, as a series of mysterious events unfolds, Boruto’s story is about to begin!
