Blue Giant is heading to New York. The manga by Shinichi Ishizuka about Japanese jazz saxophonist Dai will enter its “New York arc” this July.
That’s following Blue Giant, Blue Giant Supreme and Blue Giant Explorer, all of which track Dai’s journey from a young man in Sendai to his ascendancy in the world of jazz.
The manga recently inspired a film adaptation directed by Yuzuru Tachibana which has earned over 1 billion yen in Japan.
