Anime to Adapt Naruto Epilogue Novels
The main story of Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto saga may be over, but there are plenty of side-stories and epilogues to fill in the gaps. In the case of the latter, the series of Naruto Hiden/Shinden epilogue novels are officially getting an anime adaptation. As announced on the wraparound band of Shō Hinata’s Konoha Shinden Yukemuri Ninpō-chō novel, a TV anime based on three of the epilogue stores is planned for this winter.
The stories to be covered in the anime adaptation include Takashi Yano’s Shikamaru’s Story, Hinata’s Konoha’s Hidden Story, and Shin Towasa’s Sasuke’s Story. More information will be revealed in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump.
Of these specific stories, Naruto: Shikamaru’s Story is currently available from Viz.
