Sailor Moon is experiencing a major resurgence at the moment, so the timing is perfect for the debut of the Moon Animate Make-Up project. The crowd-sourced group animation effort ended up bringing over 250 fans together to animate a full episode of Sailor Moon, each contributing their own style.
The results are both jarring and entertaining, with visual change-ups occurring on a shot-by-shot basis. The project started in October 2013, and you can watch the full finished product below.
