Amazingly, it’s officially been nine years since the Bungo Stray Dogs anime adaptation first premiered back in April 2016. That means it has a 10th anniversary to look forward to next year, but for now the staff is getting in on a little pre-party with a 9th anniversary visual.
You can see the visual—which has the Port Mafia members posing with a nine, appropriately enough—above. As the year goes on, August will see a collaboration campaign begin with popular ochazuke restaurant chain Dashichazuke En. After that, a campaign is in the waiting at Animate stores in September, followed by the opening of a “Bungo Star Dogs Only Shop” at the main Animate Ikebukuro store in Tokyo in October.
Further merchandise details for the latter will be revealed at a later date, and we’ll have to see what else pops up to mark the big 1-0 in 2026.
Crunchyroll streams all five seasons of Bungo Stray Dogs and describes the series like so:
Atsushi Nakajima has no idea that a beastly white tiger lives inside him—a power that interests the eccentric members of a crimefighting agency. Together with this motley crew, he’ll claw through mafia-muddled mysteries, and face a gifted group of Americans who threaten his city!
