Following up on a screening during the second day of the MBS Anime Fest 2025 event over the weekend, a special One Piece episode is now available to stream online. While it doesn’t have English subtitles at this time, you can see the five-minute original episode featuring Luffy and Trafalgar Law—set after the events of Wano and featuring an as-yet untold story—below.
One Piece Original Episode
The original episode features Yasunori Koyama (Episode of Sabo) as director and storyboard artist, with Tomohiro Nakayama writing and Midori Matsuda on character designs. All three were involved in the One Piece anime back in 1999.
Meanwhile, in the main One Piece anime the remade Fish-Man Island Saga is currently airing. Here’s how Crunchyroll describes it:
Fish-Man Island Saga Plot
The Straw Hats reunite at Sabaody! The promised day has arrived. The Straw Hats have made it back to Sabaody Archipelago after two arduous years of separation. In the very same place where they once lost to Pacifista, the Straw Hats have proven themselves to be stronger and ready to begin their journey to the New World. With the Thousand Sunny now equipped to travel underwater, the next stop is the Fish-Man Island. “One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga” is a special edited version of the original arc from “One Piece”, in an abridged 21-episode story with an enhanced contemporary visual look.
For more new One Piece, the main series returns with new episodes this April.
