If you’ve been looking forward to more My Happy Marriage anime, you’ll soon be able to continue with a special episode on Netflix. The streaming service announced plans to launch the OVA, Episode 13, on November 22, 2024.
A second season was previously announced for a January 2025 premiere. The first season of My Happy Marriage premiered in July 2023 and ran for 12 episodes.
The My Happy Marriage anime is directed by Takehiro Kubota and produced at Kinema Citrus. Yen Press publishes the source material in English and describes it like so:
My Happy Marriage Plot
Born to a noble family, Miyo is raised by her abusive stepmother and married off to Kiyoka, a soldier so heartless his prior fiancées fled within three days into their engagement. With no home to return to, Miyo slowly starts to open her heart to her cold and pale husband-to-be, despite their rocky introduction… This might just be her chance at finding true love and happiness.
