The 14th episode of the Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest anime will be here on Sunday, and it will have new opening and ending theme songs. A trailer has dropped, and part of its objective is to introduce us to the new songs and give us a sneak peek listen to one.
In the trailer, you can hear the upcoming opening theme song “Endless Happy-Ending” being performed by THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE.
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Trailer
You don’t hear it in the trailer, but the upcoming ending theme song is titled “ties” and performed by Emi Noda.
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is being made at J.C. Staff, with Toshinori Watanabe of Edens Zero helming the project as director. Shinji Ishihara, who was the director of the original Fairy Tail anime, is now working as the chief director. The scripts are being looked over by Atsuhiro Tomioka, who also wrote for the Fairy Tail anime.
In terms of the cast, Tetsuya Kakihara is back as Natsu Dragneel, Aya Hirano is back as Lucy Heartfilia, Yūichi Nakamura is back as Happy, Sayaka Ōhara is back as Gray Fullbuster, Satomi Satou is back as Wendy, and Yui Horie is back as Charle. Itaru Yamamoto will no longer play Madmole because of an “acknowledged serious breach of contract.”
The sequel manga Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest comes to us from Hiro Mashima and Atsuo Ueda and is published in America by Kodansha USA Publishing. It gave this description for the story:
