Banished From The Heroes’ Party Trailer Highlights Songs and New Cast

The second season of Banished From The Heroes’ Party will be here in a few weeks, on January 7. Ahead of this a trailer has dropped that not only shares more members of the cast, but lets us hear both the opening and ending theme songs. The opening theme song is titled “routine life” and performed by Yui Nishio, while the ending theme song is called “Michibiki, Sasagete” being performed by JYOCHO.

Here are the new actors announced by the trailer: Toshiki Iwasawa plays Godwin, Yuriko Fuchizaki plays Mistorm, Daisuke Hatooka plays Mogrim, and Kōhei Amasaki plays Albert.

It had previously been revealed that these actors will be joining for the new season: Yumiri Hanamori plays Van, Ai Kakuma plays Lavender, Satoshi Mikami plays Cardinal Lub, and Aya Uchida plays Esther.

The anime is being made at Studio Flad, with Satoshi Takafuji helming as director. Makoto Hoshino, who directed the first season, has had a change of jobs and is currently the chief director for season two. While a few people have changed jobs, the majority of the crew is the same.

American fans can watch the new season on Crunchyroll, which will be offering a simultaneous release.

Yen Press publishes the original light novels by Zappon and Yasumo and gave this description for their plot:

Red was once a member of the Hero’s party, a powerful group destined to save the world from the evil forces of Taraxon, the Raging Demon Lord. That is, until one of his comrades kicked him out. Hoping to live the easy life on the frontier, Red’s new goal is to open an apothecary. However, keeping the secret of his former life may not be as simple as he thinks. Especially when the beautiful Rit, an adventurer from his past, shows up and asks to move in with him!
