My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered Anime Shares Musical Trailer

The anime My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered (a.k.a. Sokushi Cheat ga Saikyōsugite, Isekai no Yatsura ga marude Aite ni Naranain Desu ga. in Japanese) is set to debut on January 4. Ahead of this a trailer has dropped that not only gives more info on the cast, but lets us listen to the opening theme song “Killer Bars” being performed by Hilcrhyme.

Here are the new cast members, as disclosed by the trailer: Sayaka Kikuchi plays Sōra Akino, Kiyono Yasuno plays Ryōko Ninomiya, Anna Suzuki plays Carol S. Lane, Shōhei Komatsu plays Haruto Ōtori, and Shōgo Sakata plays Taku Yazaki.

These are the cast members who had previously been announced: Kouki Uchiyama plays Yogiri Takatou, Miyu Tomita plays Tomochika Dannoura, Tomoko Kaneda plays Mokomoko Dannoura, Yui Horie plays Sion the Sage, Rina Satou plays Lain the Sage, Hiro Shimono plays Daimon Hanakawa, Yoshiki Murakami plays Yūki Tachibana, and Lynn plays Asaka Takatō.

American fans will be able to catch the anime on the streaming service HIDIVE.

J-Novel Club publishes the original light novels by Tsuyoshi Fujitaka and gave this description for them:

Awaking to absolute chaos and carnage while on a school trip, Yogiri Takatou discovers that everyone in his class has been transported to another world! He had somehow managed to sleep through the entire ordeal himself, missing out on the Gift — powers bestowed upon the others by a mysterious Sage who appeared to transport them.
