Oshi no Ko is one of the biggest anime of the season, and its English dub is right around the corner. HIDIVE revealed details for the dub, including the main cast and plans to launch it on the streaming service starting on May 24.
Shannon D. Reed (Urusei Yatsura, Call of the Night) is serving as director for the project.
The main cast includes:
- Ai Hoshino: Donna Bella Litton
- Gorou: Jeremy Gee
- Sarina: Savanna Menzel
- Aqua: Jack Stansbury
- Ruby / Ruby (Young): Alyssa Marek
- Aqua (Young): Chaney Moore
- Kana: Natalie Rial
- Ichigo: Brandon Hearnsberger
- Miyako: Christina Kelly
- Taishi: Ty Mahany
HIDIVE previously announced that Oshi no Ko was its biggest premiere of all time.
Daisuke Hiramaki is directing the Oshi no Ko anime, with animation production by Doga Kobo. Manga Plus publishes the English version of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari’s manga digitally and describes it like so:
“In the world of showbiz, lies are weapons.” Goro works as an OB-GYN in the countryside, a life far removed from the entertainment industry. Meanwhile, his favorite idol, Ai Hoshino, has begun her climb to stardom. The two meet in the “worst possible way,” setting the gears of fate in motion! The amazing Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari team up to depict the world of showbiz from a completely new perspective in this shocking series!
