Me & Roboco Anime Unveils Cast and Theme in First Full Promo

Following up on June’s announcement of a Me & Roboco TV anime adaptation and the sporadic updates since, we recently got our biggest reveal yet for the upcoming comedy. Thanks to a new trailer, we know who’s voicing who in the main cast and have a quick sample of the theme song, GANG PARADE’s “lol.”

Comedian Shun Matsuo is in the lead as Roboco, joined by Minami Tsuda as Bondo Taira, Ryotaro Okiayu as Gachi Gorilla, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Motsuo Kaneo, M.A.O. as Madoka, Sae Hiratsuka as Meiko and Kotono Mitsuishi as Bondo’s mother. 

Akitaro Daichi (Tonkatsu DJ Agetaro) is directing the adaptation of Shuhei Miyazaki’s manga, with Michihiro Sato as assistant director, Sayuro Ooba as series composition writer and Yuko Ebara as character designer at animation production house Gallop. 

Look for Me & Roboco to kick off on TV in Japan on December 4. 

The Me & Roboco manga has been running in Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2020.
