Ahead of the next season in 2023, a special episode is on the way for the Dr. STONE anime—which adapts the manga by Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki—and now we have timing for its premiere. Dr. STONE: Ryusui is set to air on Tokyo MX and BS11 in Japan on July 10 at 7:00pm, and will run for a full hour.

The official Twitter account also revealed that the previously-announced new chapter of the manga is set to make its way to fans in this year’s 31st issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, which hits stands in Japan on July 4.
Crunchyroll previously confirmed plans to stream the special episode when it debuts, followed by Dr. STONE season 3 in 2023.
