The second season for The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! will debut on July 14, and a second promotional video has just dropped for it. In it you can hear the theme song “WITH” being performed by Minami Kuribayashi. Kuribayashi was also the performer for the first season’s opening theme song “ZERO!!”
It was just revealed that the following actors will return: Asuka Nishi plays Rika Suzuki, Yumi Uchiyama plays Mayumi Kisaki, Azumi Asakura plays Emerada, and Yūichi Iguchi plays Mitsuki Sarue/Sariel. We had already been told about the following actors: Ryota Ohsaka plays Sadao Maō/Demon King Satan, Yōko Hikasa plays Emi Yusa/Heroine Emilia, Nao Tōyama plays Chiho Sasaki, Yūki Ono plays Shirō Ashiya/Demon General Alciel, Hiro Shimono plays Hanzō Urushihara/Demon General Lucifer, and Kanae Itō plays Suzuno Kamazuki. Looking toward brand-new cast members, Kikuko Inoue plays Lailah, Takehito Koyasu plays Gabriel, Yuko Kaida plays Amane Ōguro, and Kenichi Ogata plays Camio.
The first season was made at White Fox with Naoto Hosoda working as the director. This time around, the anime will be made at Studio 3Hz and have Daisuke Tsukushi of Isekai Cheat Magician and Girl Friend Note working as the director.
Yen Press has licensed both the original light novels and the manga adaptation, and gave this description:
“After being soundly thrashed by the hero Emilia, the Devil King and his general beat a hasty retreat to a parallel universe… only to land plop in the middle of bustling, modern-day Tokyo!
