Big plans are in motion for the Dr. STONE anime—based on the manga written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi—including the hotly-anticipated season 3 and a special episode. Both the new season and the special, titled RYUSUI, were the subject of a new preview released during Jump Festa 2022 over the weekend, and you can see some of what’s in store below.
As revealed in the trailer, Ryota Suzuki (Yu Ishigami in KAGUYA-SAMA: LOVE IS WAR) will be voicing the subject of the special, Ryusui Nanami.

Crunchyroll confirmed plans to stream the special episode when it debuts in summer 2022, followed by Dr. STONE season 3 in 2023.
