Demon Slayer Planes to Fly High in 2022

Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has taken over all the space available on solid ground, so the next logical destination is the sky. The series’s latest collaboration is with Japanese airline All Nippon Airways, which will deck out two planes from their domestic fleet with Demon Slayer artwork next year.

The first Demon Slayer plane is currently set to take off around the end of January, with the second to follow by the end of March. The exterior isn’t the only part of the plane getting the Demon Slayer touch. There will also be special cups, in-flight entertainment, and even announcements made in-character by the anime’s voice cast.

The circular Menko cards pictured below will be sold at ANA toy shops in airports.

More campaigns are planned throughout the rest of 2022.

As for the series, the Mugen Train Arc is currently airing on Fuji TV and streaming on Crunchyroll and Funimation, and the Entertainment District Arc is next up starting on December 5.
