Demon Slayer Takes Fourth Place in U.S. Box Office

Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train came in fourth place in during its fourth weekend in the U.S. box office, where it made about $1.77 million. In total, it’s made about $41.9 million in the U.S. so far.

Godzilla vs. Kong, with its roots in the Japanese Godzilla franchise, came in sixth place this past weekend, making $1.46 million. Altogether it’s made about $95 million in America, so it’s more than twice that of Demon Slayer. But Godzilla vs. Kong has also been out longer and had more promotion and mainstream knowledge of it before its release.

The Demon Slayer movie had opened in America in second place, and took the top spot the following weekend.
