The film Ryoma! Shinsei Gekijōban Tennis no Ōji-sama (a.k.a. Ryoma! Rebirth: The Prince of Tennis Movie) is slated to come out September 3. A short trailer has been released to give fans a look at its 3DCG style.
There will be two versions of the movie people can see. Anime News Network explained, “The ‘Decide’ version focuses on the Seigaku team captain Kunimitsu Tezuka and Rikkai team captain Seiichi Yukimura, while the ‘Glory’ version focuses on the Hyōtei team captain Keigo Atobe and Shitenhōji team captain Kuranosuke Shiraishi.” Whichever version is watched, it still involves protagonist Ryoma traveling to the L.A. area. The movie is also being supervised by Takeshi Konomi, who created the original Prince of Tennis manga.
