Hatena Shares Video Game-Inspired Video For Dr. STONE Season 2 ED

Hatena’s second major single is “Koe dakega” (“Only the Voice”), which also doubles as the ending theme song for the second season of the Dr. STONE anime adaptation. The song was inspired by the cool, calm, curious, and passionate demeanor of Dr. STONE protagonist Senku, and you can see its video game themed visuals—including a mix of CG animation and pixel art—below.

Prior to this, Hatena debuted in the major leagues with his first single, “Yumejyanai,” which was used as the ending theme for the Taiso Samurai anime. His new single’s music video is considered a sequel to this one.
