AnimeJapan 2021 Goes Online to Prevent Spread of COVID-19

This March’s AnimeJapan 2021 was previously set to be held at Tokyo Big Sight, but the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has put a halt to those plans. The latest update from the organizing committee behind the event has it moving to an online only affair, but they’re keeping the dates of March 27 to 30 for the festivities.

Also announced at this time, Takanori Nishikawa—more widely known as T.M.Revolution—is the official ambassador for AnimeJapan 2021. Nishkawa will be on hand for an online presentation with voice actors Ryota Suzuki (KAGUYA-SAMA‘s Yu Ishigami) and Mayu Mineda (We Never Learn‘s Hazuki Yuiga) to discuss the event on February 18 at 7:30pm JST.
