It’s been quite a wait, but the first part of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 2 is finally about to premiere on January 12. To get everyone in gear for the return, the adaptation of Fuse’s light novels is here with a new short trailer, featuring some fresh footage to the tune of TRUE’s “Storyteller” OP theme.
Here’s how Crunchyroll described the first season:
Corporate worker Mikami Satoru is stabbed by a random killer, and is reborn to an alternate world. But he turns out to be reborn a slime! Thrown into this new world with the name Rimuru, he begins his quest to create a world that’s welcoming to all races.
The second part of the second season will follow as part of the Summer 2021 season, and there will also be The Slime Diaries spinoff series between the two, so plenty of Slime to look forward to!
