Director Masaaki Yuasa’s acclaimed anime film The Night is Short, Walk on Girl is about to come to US theaters for a special two-night event. GKIDS and Fathom Events have teamed up for the theatrical screenings, which are scheduled for August 21 and 22 at 7:00pm local time.
The Night is Short, Walk on Girl adapts the novel by The Tatami Galaxy‘s Tomihiko Morimi. The website is now live, and you can see the latest theatrical trailer below.
Synopsis:
As a group of teens go out for a night on the town, a sophomore known only as “The Girl with Black Hair” experiences a series of surreal encounters with the local nightlife. Simultaneously, she is unaware of the romantic longings of Senpai, a fellow student who has been creating increasingly fantastic and contrived reasons to run into her, in an effort to win her heart.
