Live-Action Naruto Movie Hires for Rewrite

Lionsgate’s live-action Naruto film adaptation has a couple of writers tapped for a rewrite of the script. This responsibility falls to Jon and Erich Hoeber, who previously worked on the adaptations of Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner’s Red comic, as well as upcoming monster movie Meg.

Director Michael Gracey has been attached to helm the Naruto movie since 2015, and he’s still on board. Formerly a VFX artist, Gracey will be making his directorial debut with The Greatest Showman, a P.T. Barnum musical.
