January 11, 2017 Renowned director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor) and Production I.G have their Sand Whale and Me short film coming to Toonami as a five-part micro-series on March 18. The block is here to hype the production again on Facebook with a new trailer, showing more of the short’s mix of computer animation and live-action footage.
