Hellsing Creator’s Drifters Anime Trailer Streamed

The first promotion video for Drifters, the upcoming series based on a manga by Hellsing creator Kouta Hirano, is up and streaming.

The video, which debuted at the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair, gives us the first glimpse at the series, which is directed by Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure’s Kenichi Suzuki.

Drifters is about a real-life samurai, Shimazu Toyohisa, who is transported to a magical realm filled with warriors from across time and space who are forced to fight in a never-ending battle.

If that sounds cool (which it totally does, right?) you can get an early look by picking up the manga, which is distributed by Dark Horse, and we’ll keep you updated with a release date when it hits.
