The new issue of Otaku USA magazine, which features Penguin Drum on the cover, should be hitting subscribers soon, with newsstands to follow. This time around we’re covering everything from news—including the Macross stage musical and a Dragon Ball soda taste test—to fresh creator interviews. One of this issue’s interviews is with Masao Maruyama—who worked with Madhouse in the past and now works for the independent production company MAPPA—while the other gets word on anime’s first Kickstarter project from director Masaaki Yuasa and other members of the Kick-Heart staff.
