70 Frames Saved from Kyoto Animation Arson Displayed in Exhibition

70 Frames Saved from Kyoto Animation Arson Displayed in ExhibitionSince the July 18 arson at Kyoto Animation, various events and crowdfunding efforts have been set up to help the studio financially and show support.

The latest is an exhibition of key art in Matsue, a city on the coast of western Japan. The fire destroyed the large majority of the production materials in the studio, but 70 frames that were stored in a separate location are on display in Matsue until August 31.

The materials come from five separate KyoAni series, including Sound! Euphonium and Free!.

There is no charge for the exhibition, and there is a box for donations to the studio.
