While we’re on the topic of anniversaries, Sword Art Online has been going all out lately to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its anime adaptation. With the second Progressive film making its way to theaters in Japan later this year, now is as good a time as any to reflect on the past decade of SAO.
The Aniplex YouTube channel is helping with the festivities in a new 16-minute anniversary video that takes fans back to the beginning and runs through some of the key moments before bringing us right back to Aincrad. Check it out below while we wait for the Sword Art Online -Progressive- Scherzo of Deep Night anime film to premiere this fall.
