The Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead anime is finally upon us, and it’s never been more fun to be alive in a world chock-full of the undead! The adaptation of the manga written by Haro Aso and illustrated by Kotaro Takata kicked off on July 9, and you can catch it streaming right now on Netflix, Hulu and Crunchyroll.

Akira Tendo is a 24-year-old office worker who finds himself struggling against the mundanity of his routine on a daily basis. His job stinks, his boss is a jerk and his motivation is all but completely nonexistent at this point. Things change in the most unexpected of ways, however, when the zombie apocalypse strikes, turning the denizens of Tokyo into mindless, shambling zombies and sparking a newfound enthusiasm for life within Akira.

Now he’s bound and determined to scratch all 100 items off his bucket list before he kicks the bucket himself. Even though the world is full of death, Akira has never felt more full of life, and you can catch his progress on a weekly basis in the excellent Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead anime adaptation directed by Kazuki Kawagoe and animated at Bug Films.
