Yuzuki-san Chi no Yon-Kyodai Manga Reveals Anime Plans
An anime adaptation is officially on the way for Shizuki Fujisawa’s Yuzuki-san Chi no Yon-Kyodai (Youth Story of a Family) manga, which has been running in the pages of Shogakukan’s Betsucomi magazine since 2018. According to the recently-launched website, Natsume’s Book of Friends studio Shuka is handling animation production with a release lined up for fall 2023.
The anime adaptation is being directed by Mitsuru Hongo (Ascendance of a Bookworm), with Orie Tanaka (animation director on Natsume’s Book of Friends) handling character designs.
The Yuzuki-san Chi no Yon-Kyodai manga previously won an award in the shojo category in 2020’s 66th Shogakukan Manga Prizes.
