Ever want more insight into how anime is made on the production side? Studio Trigger producer Kazuya Masumoto—who has worked on titles like Kill la Kill, SSSS.GRIDMAN, and PROMARE, among others—is here to offer it with a new anime production handbook. Best of all, the book is available for free via the AJA (Association of Japanese Animations) website.

The 52-page book covers anime scheduling, how to read storyboards, what goes into creating a single episode of anime, and more. Unfortunately, it’s also only available in Japanese at the moment, but it’s still a cool visual reference to all the work that goes into producing anime.
