Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Kalego Spinoff Manga Prepares to End

Mairimashita! Iruma-kun Kalego Gaiden

A pair of Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun spinoff manga were announced back in July 2023, including one that focuses on Naberius Kalego. The series is titled Mairimashita! Iruma-kun Kalego Gaiden and was initially planned for five chapters, and now its time in serialization is about to come to an end. 

The ending plans were revealed in this year’s sixth issue of Akita Publishing’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine. According to the issue, Osamu Nishi’s Kalego spinoff will conclude in the magazine’s next issue on January 18, which is when the epilogue will be published.

A young Kalego overhears a powerless Opera… which leads to his investigation of the demon school’s public order of evil?

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun manga launched in Weekly Shonen Champion in 2017 and has inspired three seasons of TV anime so far. Crunchyroll streams the series and describes it like so:

Suzuki Iruma, human, 14, one day finds himself taken against his will into the world of demons. To add to his predicament, his doting owner and self-appointed “Grandpa” is the chair-demon at his new school. In order to survive, Iruma must deal with a haughty student who challenges him to a duel, a girl with adjustment issues, and so many more scary beings! Can this ultimate pacifist dodge the slings and arrows that are flung his way? As he struggles frantically, Iruma’s innate kindness begins to win over enemies.
