Those who fondly recall Vampire Princess Miyu will be delighted to learn she’s rising from her grave for more manga. Original series artist Narumi Kakinouchi returns to write and illustrate the Vampire Princess Miyu – Saku (New Moon) web manga, which makes its debut as part of Akita Shoten’s digital magazine Champion Cross.

Toshiki Hirano wrote the original Vampire Princess Miyu manga along with Kakinouchi’s illustrations back in 1988. The series ran until 2002 and inspired a 1988-1989 OVA and a 1997-1998 TV anime.
