An Uzumaki anime adaptation is in the works with Flowers of Evil director Hiroshi Nagahama at the helm, and if the latest tease is any indication, it seems he was the right choice for the project. Getting the bad news out of the way first, the animated take on one of Junji Ito’s most beloved horror manga works has been delayed once again, with the new release date set for October 2022.
While we have over a year to go before we can see how it all turns out, the good news is we can enjoy a brief sample in the video below.
Hopefully there will be many more previews like this in the coming months.
