Volume 8 of Ryōko Kui’s excellent fantasy comedy manga Delicious in Dungeon is coming to shelves in Japan on September 14, and publisher Harta has gone above and beyond to promote it. While this is not to be confused for an anime announcement, there is an awesome animated promo for the manga by none other than Trigger (Kill la Kill, PROMARE, Little Witch Academia).
See what Trigger cooked up and keep dreaming about the potential for an anime in the ad below.
Here’s a look at the volume 8 cover:
Yen Press releases the series in English and describes it like so:
When young adventurer Laios and his company are attacked and soundly thrashed by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the party loses all its money and provisions. They’re eager to get right back to it, but there’s just one problem: if they set out with no food or coin to speak of, they’re sure to eat it on the way! But Laios comes up with a brilliant idea: ‘Let’s eat the monsters!’ Slimes, basilisks, mimics, and even dragons…none are safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!
