The first stage play inspired by Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers manga kicked off back in summer 2021, followed by the second’s take on the Bloody Halloween Arc from March to April 2022. Now a third is on the way, and true to the series it will cover the Christmas Showdown Arc when performances begin this winter.
The third Tokyo Revengers stage play will be held at Higashi Osaka Cultural Creation Hall’s Dream House in Osaka from December 22 to 25, 2023, and then move to Tokyo’s Shinagawa Prince Hotel’s Stellar Ball from December 29, 2023 to January 8, 2024. Naohiro Ise returns to write and direct, and Takemichi Hanagaki actor Tsubasa Kizu will be back in the role.

Kodansha Comics publishes the Tokyo Revengers manga in English and describes the plot:
“Watching the news, Takemichi Hanagaki learns that his girlfriend from way back in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, has died. The only girlfriend he ever had was just killed by a villainous group known as the Tokyo Manji Gang. He lives in a crappy apartment with thin walls, and his six-years-younger boss treats him like an idiot. Plus, he’s a complete and total virgin … At the height of his rock-bottom life, he suddenly time-leaps twelve years back to his middle school days!! To save Hinata, and change the life he spent running away, hopeless part-timer Takemichi must aim for the top of Kanto’s most sinister delinquent gang!!”
