Tokyo Ghoul creator Sui Ishida is teasing something from an upcoming project, and what it will ultimately be is anyone’s guess. For now we have a new character design to go on, which Ishida revealed in the form of a New Year’s greeting.
The character is a young boy named Mitsuki Shirota. Ishida specifically refers to him as a character “used in a project” without going into any further details. He also refers to the act of ending Tokyo Ghoul as one of his life’s milestones, and mentions that he’s trying to do some work outside of manga in 2019 while hoping to come up with ideas for his next work.
We’ll have to see if Mitsuki Shirota ends up in whatever Ishida decides to tackle next.
(絵は何かの作品で使う男の子) pic.twitter.com/hWvuQAQvz8
