This Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World Pillow Talks and Cushions

It’s not rare for anime characters to get made into covers to put on body pillows. But the Roxanne hizamakura cushion, starring Roxanne from Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World, has a little more to offer than your typical pillow.

Hizamakura is a reference to laying your head on someone’s lap, and the pillow lets you do exactly that. Roxanne is folded over so she can be propped up and a person can place their head on her lap. This example picture was released.

And if anyone gets any ideas, look at what Roxanne is holding. She’s supposed to be cleaning your ears, so there’s a perfectly good reason to rest your head on her lap. What were you thinking?

With the pillow folding out the way it does, it can also be put on a chair as an extra cushion. Or it can be lain out flat to be cuddled with or to lie on it.

But that’s not all! Roxanne can also communicate. Yes, there is the option of buying the additional Roxanne ASMR audio data bundle. Roxanne’s Japanese VA Shiori Mikami supplies her vocals for A Night Spent with Roxanne, which is advertised as including the following noises that are supposed to be relaxing: “ear puff puff, ear cleaning in hizamakura pose, oil massage, close-contact hair washing, in bed together, and more.”

Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World is streamed by Crunchyroll, which gave this description for the anime:

“Despondent high school student Michio discovers a shady online game proclaiming, ‘If you’re having a hard time living in this world, you can live in another one.’ Intrigued, he joins the game and creates his own character. Suddenly, he’s transported to an alternate reality that’s just like a video game. Overpowered with an ability to reset his statuses freely, Michio begins his new adventure.”
