Gundam Factory Yokohama was supposed to open next month and show off his giant, moveable RX-78 Gundam anime mecha. While the opening has been postponed (yet again because of COVID-19), we are able to catch some sneak peeks of the nearly 60-foot mecha during a test run.
SoraNews24, which covered the story, shared some videos from @nansei2’s Twitter page. The first shows the robot slowly getting into a kneeling position, a scene that more than 55,000 people have liked.

The next video, shared a day later, shows the robot moving its right arm up and down and flexing its fingers.

Here the robot a gives an appearance of looking around. To your right (the robot’s left) you can see people and get a better idea of the sheer size of this thing.
