The Slime Diaries Anime Picks Up Opening Theme ArtistThe Slime Diaries, for those who may have forgotten, is the upcoming spinoff of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Now we know who’s set to perform the show’s opening theme.

It’s Akane Kumada, best known to anime fans for “Sunny Sunny Girl,” the opening theme of Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga. The song is called “Brand new diary,” and it was composed by R・O・N, who’s doing the music for the series.

The Slime Diaries is headed to screens in April. It’s directed by Yuji Ikuhara and animated over at 8-bit. Here’s the full staff list:
