Shinka no Mi ~Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei~—the comedic series of parallel world light novels written by Miku and illustrated by U35 that’s also known as The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made—is coming to Japan this October, and the latest trailer might be a little too hot for TV.
The Japanese broadcast schedule has also been revealed, lining the series up for Monday airings on TV Tokyo starting October 4, followed by BS TV Tokyo every Wednesday starting October 6 and AT-X every Thursday starting October 7. Check out the new promo while we wait:
Yoshiaki Okumura is directing the anime, with Gigaemon Ichikawa on series composition, Minami Eda on character designs, and Hifumi Inc. handling music for the HOTLINE production. Hiro Shimono and Kana Hanazawa are in the respective leads as Seiichi Hiiragi and Saria.
The story follows a young man named Seiichi Hiiragi, who is despised by his classmates for being chubby, smelly, and ugly. His luck gets even worse when his class is transported to another world and he finds himself pursued by an amorous female gorilla named Saria. Once they ingest the legendary Fruit of Evolution, though, the unlikely pair experiences an unexpected transformation.
